Born from a shared love of ‘90s alternative/punk and hatred of algorithms, FAIR ‘NUFF is a Marquette-based power trio consisting of David DeForest (Then Again, Particle Thrower, Minimum Wage), Cole Bonino (Cicada, the Crum Bums) and the semi-eponymous Cory Phare (The Minor League, itchy-O, Wespot).

In their short tenure of going from one-off project to an established act, they’ve already brought scorching sets to the Ore Dock Brewery, the Masonic Building’s Red Room, Superior Culture, and the MQT Climber’s Co-op.

FAIR ‘NUFF hearkens back to the glory days of MTV’s 120 Minutes, Alternative Nation, and taping songs off the radio (while hoping the DJ doesn’t start talking too soon). Their set includes the likes of Green Day, Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins, along with unexpected renditions of familiar favs and a few originals for good measure.
